“Cozy hotel in the small town of Landry. Close to the slopes but you'll need to take the shuttle or train to Paisey or Bourg St Maurice. Very good restaurant downstairs so you don't have to leave for dinner after a long ski day. The foie gras was fantastic. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is no one is there to help you with the bags if you decided to try and travel without a car. ”

“The evening food was wonderful - lots of local cheeses and lovely menu items. Breakfast was also excellent. The staff were all very polite and attentive. Perfect for the lifts and slopes if you’re skiing. ”

“Nice hotel in a good location. We were B&B, breakfast had a good selection, however food was warm, not hot and baked beans were stone cold most mornings. As we were B&B we decided we would pay and try dinner one night. We were glad that we hadn’t selected this option. Again the food was warm at best and variably not worth the €35 pp we had to pay for the experience. In summary, nice hotel, service and staff were good, food needs improving. ”

“I've stayed in a few places in Meribel. This was one of the best. Rooms are quite small, but ours came with a balcony and nice bathroom. The hotel is opposite the main lifts in Meribel centre. The hotel also (and I would say unusually) has an amazing heated outdoor pool, with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi (wasnt working). Breakfast was really good as well. Compared to other 3/4*'s in Meribel, this place was good value considering all the amenities. Will try and stay again if I go back to……

“Super kind staff in every facet. For us, White 1921 was the best combination of luxury and convenience. Plus the location is very central so there is no need to shuttle around because everything is in walking distance. The breakfast is delicious with some very nice cooked options; and the spa is easy to use. I would absolutely stay here again. ”
