"We stayed at the Shana for a week over spring break. Everything about it was wonderful. The staff, the beach, the pool, the breakfast. we saw more wildlife on the hotel proper than we did in Manuel Antonio National Park. The monkeys were daily entertainment. There is a sloth that hangs out in a tree ..."

"The staff was amazing! Mariela, Moses, Amy and Kerly were so sweet and friendly. The property is incredible with so much wildlife. The howler monkeys were intense! I miss the sound of them. The monkey mafia (casiblanco) were entertaining. They’d roll through later in the day and put on a show."

"Staff very friendly and helpful, peaceful setting, wonderful views from room, dining area and the pool, which was great! Place in ceiling where there has been a leak needs to be addressed due to what appears to be mold, but overall this was a wonderful restorative stay and we hope to return!"
