"For a budget hotel, it is worthwhile. Clean and warm room. Don’t expect too much, no electric kettle, teabags or coffee, table, chairs at room. Small room for putting one luggage suitcase."

Beautiful setting, grand old hotel.
"It would have been helpful to know about the road closures nearby. I had a very interesting tour of the back lanes around the Peak District which Google managed admirably until depositing me at a farmhouse. Luckily I’m from N Devon, used to Exmoor lanes, and a farmer myself!"

"Accommodation was clean, comfortable, within close walking distance to a few eateries and shops, and near Peak District favorites such as Chatsworth House and Bakewell. "We had 3 lovely nights in The Nook, it was conveniently located close to all amenities. As we had a dog it would have been helpful to know where to take him to do he's business, as the property doesn't have a garden. The kitchen window and door could do with a blind as it would give some privacy, ..."
