“This is my favorite spot in all of Ethiopia. It was my second stay at this hotel and proved to be as special as the first. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The view from the balcony is extraordinary with crows, eagles and hawks flying at by. The morning coffee was delicious and everyone was extremely accommodating and kind. I highly recommend.”

“I had an excellent stay, as always. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet and airy, with beautiful flowers and bird in the garden. And with a short walk to the wonderful Lalibela churches, it is the perfect place to stay. ”

“Personally, I loved the simplicity and minimalism of the hotel. The uniqueness. The noises you can hear through the walls. (I need noise to fall asleep and I was there over Timket celebration) I call this luxury. Wifi. A bed (with shiny bedding). A shower and running water. Friendly staff. A TV that I never used. “This is a very basic hotel. But despite the many shortfalls ( like no toilet amenities, breakfast was just eggs and bread, no wifi in rooms, hotel is on the main road so it is noisy) I can still say that I made a good decision to stay in this hotel. They communicated well with me prior to my arrival so they made proper arrangements for my hotel transfer. They also hooked me up with a local guide for tours. Staff was helpful. “This property has a rustic appeal. The few staff working there are accommodating to the best they can. Its under renovation so I hope it will only improve with upgrades. The view is pleasing and the food is good. The water was hot and the western toilet is a plus. Overall, it was a nice stay.”

“It has a great view of Lalibela from the bar, the restaurant, and the patio. It seems the property has not kept up probably due to the downtown of tourism and economy. My room had only one working table lamp so I ate my dinner in the dark. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was an average stay overall. ”

“2023年9月に宿泊。空港からの送迎は200ブル、貸切なら1300ブル。空港から30分から1時間かかります。他に公共交通機関がないので宿泊時に事前に送迎を予約することをお勧めします。立地は良く、ラリベラの中心の広場から10分程度の徒歩圏内。教会群からも徒歩で10分程度です。丘の上に立っており、客室からの景色もいいです。客室は清潔です。ややトイレとシャワーに汚れがあります。雨季のため蚊が多かったですが、次の日の清掃から室内にスプレーをして対応してくれました。アムハラ州内の内戦中のため、州内全域でWiFi使用できず。地下にレストランが併設されており、エチオピア料理、スパゲッティなどがあります。オーナーとスタッフはとても親切で、要望にも応えてくれます。 I stayed at this hotel in Sep 2023.
