“10 out of 10 experience. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station and a few blocks away from the old town. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is well-kept and stylish. Great staff at the front desk as well as the lounge bar area. Rooms are well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Would have loved to have a kettle in the room for a cup of tea, but you can get hot water at the lobby lounge easily. Highly recommended. ”

“飯店門口對面有排班計程車和附近有許多公車，雖然離火車站有一段距離，但逛街購物、旅遊、用餐、交通都方便。櫃檯小姐有問必答，客氣但冷漠，check in 和check out我主動謝謝她並說再見，她沒有任何回應，我有點訝異。房間硬體還不錯，床、枕頭軟硬適中，可惜床單有一些髒烏漬。另外房間在1樓低樓層，樓下就是熱鬧的街道，行人來往和停留聊天，會擔心隱私問題，特別是浴室，所以我們使用浴室不敢開燈。以歐洲而言，這早餐算好吃豐富。整體來說是評價中等以上的飯店。”

“Heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Mercure Europaplatz Aachen. Het hotel ligt in een rustige omgeving aan de rand van de stad. Je hoort bijna geen verkeer, heel soms een ambulance. Het hotel biedt ruime parkeergelegenheid, maar ook de bushaltes zijn op loopafstand van het hotel. Zelf ben ik naar het centrum gelopen, wat een fijne wandeling van circa 25 minuten is. Onderweg kom je verschillende winkels en eetgelegenheden tegen, in het centrum is nog meer te vinden. Er zit een supermarkt op circa 10……

"I have always chosen the Maritim Hotel because I appreciate its atmosphere. Unfortunately, this time, I had a disappointing experience during check-in. I booked a room with two separate beds through Hotel.com and received a confirmation for it. However, upon checking in at the reception, the manager on duty was extremely impatient and treated us unfavorably. When I arrived at our room, I found that we had been assigned a king-size bed instead, which did not match my booking. I then returned to the reception and requested either a room with separate beds or at least an additional mattress. Unfortunately, my request was rudely denied by the manager. Later, we spoke with a housekeeping staff member who informed us that the bed could easily be separated into two single beds. The staff member was very kind and helpful, which we greatly appreciated. This made it even more difficult for me to understand why a manager at such a prestigious hotel like the Maritim treated us so uncooperatively. I hope you will look into this matter and ensure that such experiences do not happen in the future. "
