“Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. “The photos are simply untrue. The camp is in poor condition - broken chairs & lanterns; blankets thrown about; garbage strewn here & there. There is only one outlet in each tent and electricity was not always available. We had less than five minutes of hot water over 48 hours. Often one teenager was the only staff on site, and we had to communicate using Google translate, as the adults simply were not around. “The Sahara Garden that I stayed is truly not just a Hotel, it is like a premium resort right in the Dunes of Sahara Desert and natural Oasis. It has amenities like multiple restaurants, swimming pool, sit down locations, options to rent Jeep or 4x4 vehicles and rent quads etc. The food(lunch/dinner) was great as well as breakfast. A must place to visit in a secluded area of Morocco. The only thing that I think they can add is a soap/shampoo holder in the shower room.”
