“I liked my overall stay there. I had booked stay in Executive room. It was very spacious with twin TVs and clean twin toilets. I really liked the breakfast buffet options as well. The location is very close to the wildlife sanctuary as well. I had requested paddy field side view in advance which they had confirmed. However, at the time of check-in they informed that paddy field side rooms were all full, however, front desk was able to eventually arrange room as per my requirement which was……

“A well-located, comfortable hotel. The staff are all helpful, but the levels of spoken English can be quite basic. The reception area is cramped and needs to be rethought.The dining options are reasonable, but the service is erratic. Breakfast ditto.. it's too difficult to get a simple cup of tea or coffee. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the Sachika and would stay here again.”

“This was the worst place I ever stayed. It is dirty and unkept. People were getting the room for less than half the price I paid. There was no breakfast although reservation said so. It is next to a Railway station and the engines kept on screeching and storming all night. I will not be booking via Orbitz in future.”

“The hotel is on a hill right next to and with view of the temple. That also means it is only reachable by foot. As non Hindu travelers we definitely stood out but the location also provided a great opportunity to spend time at the most impressive attraction in Guwahati. Transportation back down from the temple hill is uncomplicated since cabs will love to have your business. ”
