“My stay was fine, I am planning on booking the room again for two nights. The only complaint I have is there was ants in the room. I went out and bought ant spray. They were on the air conditioner unit, that is where I first noticed them. That was a small thing to a giant. All in all the room was very clean, the environment was very quiet and relaxing; especially when just getting off work from a nine hour day and working in the heat. My fiance found this hotel for me and I am VERY satisfied.……

“It was a lovely overnight stay for business. Room very well lit. Bed extremely comfortable. (Love a full body pillow). The area is a lovely little town. It was a little noisy in evening. “I actually had to cancel my stay as I stood in the lobby. My mother has dementia and just wanted to get home. She and I had a very tense time in the parking lot, but clerk Marisa was such a big help! She offered snacks for my mother and tried desperately to see if the stay could be tefunded. (It couldn’t). Because of her kindness and the kindness of a bystander, LeAnn, I give this hotel 5 stars! ”

“Photos are accurate and it was great to have a dock to go out on. It was very peaceful. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch any fish or crabs in late August. House has a comfortable layout. Lots of outdoor games for kids. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Close to Cambridge lighthouse, RAR brewery, and blackwater nature reserve. NOTE: If you plan on cooking with your group, I’d recommend bringing some basics, knives and serving bowls. The kitchen did have good pans, pots and lids. ”

“The house was very clean and was great for our home base while visiting family in St. Michael’s. The owner was very response and friendly. The house included all basic amenities and then some! The owner really took the time and care preparing this place for guests. Downtown Cambridge is a short drive and a cute little town with shops and restaurants. We didn’t have a ton of time to explore downtown but plan to on our next stay! ”

“Lovely house and area. Super responsive host. Highly recommend. St Michael’s is nearby and a great little town: excellent food, maritime museum (mini Mystic Seaport), nice farmers market on Saturday. Easton is nice - enjoyed the art museum and town museum. Nice couple of trips to Oxford via ferry. Visited Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and area - well worth the trip. Made it to Henlopen State Park beach and a swim in the sea - and we saw a dolphin! Tilghman Island is a terrific little……
