“This was a wonderful experience. Great value for the cost. it was convenient to Anderson University. The staff were professional & pleasant. We asked for a quiet room & had an interior courtyard room which was very quiet. The bed was simply wonderful Everything was clean & tidy. sensor motion lights in room so that you did not stumble in the dark if you got up for the bathroom.”

“Inside looked great. House was in a terrible neighborhood. Soft spots in the floor all over the house. Had an issue with the plumbing about a week or so into the stay that was never fixed. Couldnt shower or do laundry. Be wary about staying here. Hope they actually fix up the place.”

“What an amazing find! The cottage is absolutely adorable, beautifully decorated, well equipped and so cozy. Close to Lander University where our daughter is attending. An unavoidable family issue caused us to need to come a night early and the hosts were very accommodating, communicative and friendly. Our 15 and 20 yr old daughters could not stop saying how cute everything was. It was very clean and we felt like all possible needs and comforts were met beyond expectation. Thank you David and……

There was a for sale sign in the yard. “Having friends that live in the community, we come to Lake Hartwell a lot. And our stay here was one of the best even with the effects of Hurricane Helene. We didn't have internet, but who needed it. We had the lake and a boat and perfect weather! The place was wonderfully decorated and maintained, and our families had so much fun celebrating our daughter's 3rd birthday. Communication was awesome even with the issues from the hurricane. “Our stay at the Wilhite house was wonderful. Nick and Pepper are incredible hosts who make you feel right at home. The house itself makes you feel like you are going back in time . They have done an amazing job restoring a home built in 1850, and their hospitality is second to none. We will stay here again when we return to the area”

“Expedia made a mistake. I made a reservation at Howard Johnson but the place is Quality Inn. Expedia should correct the information in the website. The room is moldy, broken handle on the commode, smells horrible, air conditioner is noisy all night long and I felt unsafe. The price per night is not commensurate with the accommodations. Sorely disappointed. ”
