“We went to celebrate our 1st year of our anniversary check in was nice and friendly … the second shift lady was a little less desirable .. she was almost non verbal and when we told her about the fire ants around the pool area she wrote it down but nothing else we had a problem with the microwave I our room I went to tell her our food was locked in the microwave and she again wrote it down so other than that excellent place to stay … ”

“Beautiful historic building restored with period features. Comfortable rooms and friendly hosts. Parking was free. I chose this so we didn't have to drive for dinner. We managed fine, but options for food were limited.”

“We stayed in the prairie flower cabin and had the best trip! No doubt the best part was the kayaks and paddle boards! We never had to wait to use one and very much enjoyed the calm river! Lots of other activities as well! Can’t wait to go back!”

“We chose this house for the sole purpose of access to the Guadalupe River however the house itself was so cute! It was spacious and clean! Our host Megan was very responsive and friendly! She had all the necessary equipment for the river to include inflatables, kayaks, and standup boards. Great house I recommend for a family or just a girls trip! ”

“Overall this is a nice property but the bed frames and mattress in all the rooms need to be updated. Also, we were given the wrong code to access the property and we were standing out in the heat for two hours trying to get in.”
