“Very remote and quiet. Had nice area with fire pits. The Oak Steakhouse was good but very expensive. If you want a view stay on granite side. The ridge top side does not have a view. There were both a dehumidifier and another air purifier. Room was a bit damp. ”

“So the good parts included newer carpet, clean beds, easy parking and quiet area. The bad parts: beds weren't comfortable and you could feel the springs coming through and the bathroom just needed an entire gut job. The light was rusted and didnt have a cover plate, the shower curtain was molded and the worst part was the leaking ceiling that kept my friend up all night when it rained. Water was all over the bathroom when we woke up and that was obviously the reason for mold on the ceiling. For……

“What a wonderful stay! It was a perfect size for me, my husband, our son, and our two dogs. My husband is a mountain man and was in his natural habitat. We thank the owner a thousand times for letting us stay in his lovely home.”

“This home is a unique and historic property that has been beautifully maintained. It is charming and has several outdoor areas to enjoy the waterfall and running water. Many sleeping areas for a large group and 2 living areas. The house is 3 levels, with narrow stairwells which could be an issue for the elderly or toddlers. It is a short drive to town and the beautiful Dry Falls are just a few miles away as well. We would highly recommend this property if visiting the Highlands! ”

“Perfect place for a large family or two smaller families. It was summer so we didn't use the multiple fire pits and large hot tub but will return in the fall and take advantage then. Very spacious, yet cozy at the same time. Can't miss rental.”
