“This property exceeded our expectations and then some. We wanted a fun, end of summer weekend and this was a perfect ending. There is literally anything you could possibly need and more! The views are absolutely stunning and so much space! Kayaking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, football, s’mores, mountain pies and plenty of space for the kids to find their own space to retreat to when they wanted a break. They spent a lot of time looking for crawfish and exploring the river bank. We cooked each……

“We had such a wonderful time staying at Patchen Hill Farm! The old-fashioned house and decor were like stepping back into a different time. The property was absolutely beautiful. We had a lot of fun exploring the property and identifying many of the trees on the farm. If you want to disconnect and relax for a weekend (or longer) this is a great place! ”

“Marienville is a small town off the beaten path so I was delighted to know this motel even exists. I had one of the small rooms, 1 queen bed, non-smoking. I noticed (before I booked) that some people had complaints about smell, cleanliness, etc. Well, my room was perfectly clean and smelled fine. The bathroom was clean. The bedding and towels were clean. (Maybe a little worn.) Sure the room was small, but heck the place used to be a Microtel. I was there during deer season, and it rained for……
