“This motel is awesome, It is locally owned and operated,,, It is clean and quiet,,, Very nice people... They have a Norwegian chocolate in each room, Good parking spots. One of the owners is from Norway, and it is neat to have a conversation with him, when he is around.,,, Very affordable.”

“It’s a good spot to sleep overnight. The manager is very friendly. He makes sure there isn’t any loud noise after 10 PM, which I appreciated. The rooms are clean but have an old house smell. Very reasonable price for an overnight stay. ”

“The Widgeon Hole had all the basics we needed. But we really only slept and showered there for the four nights we were in Gackle visiting family. Plenty of beds to choose from but be aware most of them are downstairs in the basement, a roughly finished basement, but no door on one of the bedrooms down there. Needed the managers contact information in the logbook, also needed the WiFi password in the logbook. But we were able to contact the owner thru the listing and resolved the issues. Loved……
