“I'm giving it a 5 star overall rating because c'mon, it's a motel 6 in the middle of nowhere, anyone expecting anything more than what it is must be crazy. Yea there are some weirdos walking around at night, but oddly enough, I felt safe with the cameras that are literally in every single passageway. I walked my dog in the middle of the night with zero issues. I even saw people leave their mountain bikes on their car without issue... although I probably wouldn't. If you're trying to lay your……

“Silver Lake Inn is an amazing bed-and-breakfast. From the beautiful scenery to the historical house to the lovely room with the comfortable bed and great shower. The hospitality of the innkeepers was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay very much. So much so that I’m already thinking about booking it for next year. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed.”

“Such a perfect location between Smoke hole caverns and Seneca Rocks! Walking distance to the famous Triangle Rock! Very spacious house. We LOVED having coffee and conversation in the breezeway. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable! We even got to meet our host, and he was most accommodating! Will stay here again! Book with confidence!”

“Perfect get away to find peace and recharge. Spent four nights at Lakota to escape the DC hustle and left refreshed. Bed was very comfortable as was the couch and outside furniture. Kitchen is well equipped. The cabin sits back from the main road and is obscured by trees from the road behind so plenty of privacy and quiet. The recently graded and smoothed access road is gravel which wasn't an issue with our SUV and we saw plenty of non-SUV vehicles going up and down (early September).……

“The ideal place to gather with old friends who live in the area. The house was comfortable, attractive and perfect for relaxing on the porch and entertaining at night. Adam was an excellent host and quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our arrival. We will definitely be back!”

“What a great cabin. We stayed with friends and kids and everyone fell in love with the cabin, the location, and the view!!! We did spend a good bit outdoors, arounf the cabin, on the porch, relaxing, kids loved exploring, they found fossils, forged for wood/kindling, rode bikes, went fishing, and visited Triangle Rock (pretty cool). Miss Sylvia was amazing and very accommodating. Loved communicating with her very easy to reach and quick in responding to any and all question and inquiries we had.……

The cottage provided everything we needed including a spectacular view of Seneca Rocks. Centrally located to many areas of interest. I’ll definitely be back. ”
