“We had a great time at this cabin. It was extremely clean and well cared for, we walked into the sweetest card and welcome gift, and the home was fully stocked with the things we needed for kitchen ware, bedding, extra toiletries, and even laundry supplies. We were impressed with the many seating options for dining, the thoughtful pamphlet detailing area attractions, places to eat, and emergency services, and appreciated the updated fire TV technology and stock of games for the rainy days we……

“The location is a perfect distance tucked back in the woods, but also just 15 min away from town. The cabin was cozy and just right for 2 adults. The ceiling in the loft is a bit low and the staircase is pretty narrow, so smaller people would be more comfortable. The wood burning stove to heat the house was a bit of a challenge to get going, but once we did, it made the cabin nice and toasty! We found that when the wood burning stove got going, we literally had hundreds of flies in the loft……

“We were there just after Labor Day so there was zero activity on the lake. We live in downtown Chicago. There is always some kind of noise happening near us. In this cabin and down on the lake it was absolutely quiet except for an occasional bird call. Very refreshing.”

“This was the perfect setting for our cousin reunion in the North Woods. The home is beautiful and perfectly located. We loved the firepit. Everyone was incredibly lovely and communicative. The only reason I gave it a Good rating for cleanliness was because the last day my bedroom (the master) was quite overrun by flies. I know that it is a working cranberry farm so I have a lot of tolerance for this, but they were everywhere. We did not call the management because it was our last night. ……

“We reserved the property and a few hours later it was cancelled on us. There was no way to contact the owner and the website information was horrible. The property may have been nice but we didn’t get a chance to find out. We had insurance on the property (that was canceled on us) and it took a 1 hour call to get a credit back. The property rental availability is not in sync with Expedia and made for a total waste of time. Beware!”

“The location is beautiful! The lake is nice and quiet, as much of the shoreline appears to be state owned. The cabin is comfortable, and the layout is well thought out. Very cozy, beautiful view of the snowy woods and lake. Loved having the grill on the deck right outside the kitchen. The beds we used were also very comfortable. Be careful if it is snowy and icy coming in and out of the house, as there is no hand rail on the outdoor stairs. We stayed for a week. We were both able to work……
