“Very few options in the area so we went with this one. We don’t regret it, but just manage your expectations. My biggest complaint is the tin bedframe where every time I got out of bed there was a “pop” sound- like a gunshot outside the window. I can’t imagine why they went with that material for a bedframe.”

“It's hard for me to list all that I like about the hotel. Our king bed room was huge, and scrupulously clean. The temperature controls worked beautifully. I like a firm bed, and this one was perfection. The bathroom had granite countertops , and a big area around the sink for the trappings of two people. “A lovely spot by Colgate and next to a reservoir! Saw loons and other wildlife. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the place upon arrival and had to go get some supplies that were not available. With some care and attention, this will be a lovely weekend getaway.”

“This was an amazing overnight stay! So much better than we were expecting to enjoy it. The lions, all 4, were in front of our window for almost the entire stay, both in the afternoon/night and again in the morning before leaving. To have them lounging, playing, sleeping, grooming right in front of the window with literally your hand separating them from you by plexiglass is unforgettable.
