“For the price and location this motel was good. Only problems were that the entry door was a little hard to close and when the person next door was taking a shower it was quite loud in my room. I would stay there again. ”

“This is, indeed, a motel for sportsmen. Our room had a backwoods theme, but was also prepped for folks coming in from a day in the backwoods. I think it’s being upgraded room by room (lots of building supplies blocking a couple of rooms), and kudos to whoever is taking in what seems to be a labor of love. The motel is not actually in Dorchester- don’t let Google misdirect you- and is quite isolated, so bring your own breakfast. But it’s also in the heart of the Driftless, which is a wonderful……

“Great place. Had everything we needed. Everything was up to date and it was very clean. Plenty of parking and appreciated the exterior electrical outlets as we were hauling a boat. Very comfortable stay.”

“We prepared most of our meals in this "chef's kiss" kitchen. Thankful for all the cooking, baking and dining needs, plus the grill. Spacious & comfortable accommodations added to our relaxing get-together with family from three states. We are grateful for Shawna's gifts of hospitality and her communication skills. We couldn't ask for a better host! We also enjoyed the area communities with lots of activities & unique fun shops. We loved hiking in the state park and just relaxing by their river……
