“The hotel looked nothing like t he one photo they had posted at hotels.com. there were dead crickets in the bathroom and under the sink and behind the door. The room had a terrible odor and smelled of cigarette and mold. The air conditioner was dirty and you could see a yellowish smoke stain in the face of the ac unit. The shower was old and disgusting and the toilet didnt work. A lady (I'm guessing a housekeeper or desk clerk) began telling us her life story of working for the cartel and……

“Our first stay on a houseboat. We had a great time, the lake and Medicine Park primitive and yet interesting. There are things about boat living that we had to adjust to, but that's part of the adventure. The is an outside shower/bathroom and water use in the sink is mechanical. Not an issue!! Just know your not staying in a hotel and do go to Hideaway expecting to stay on a houseboat not a condominium. You must go to the surrounding attractions and plan on fishing!!!!”

“This is an incredible space. The hot tub and sauna are so relaxing. The beds are extremely comfortable. It is a cozy, well designed and decorated little piece of heaven in Medicine Park OK. Host was quick to respond and communicate. Stocked with everything you need for a great time. Will definitely stay here again. ”
