“The desk staff was very courteous and helpful. The room clean and comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The only thing that was hard was getting a room receipt to turn in for expense reimbursement, as you were told to go to the Expedia website to find your receipt.”

“Fine, basic hotel in the small town of Guernsey. Not quite as nice as a Hampton Inn but much nicer than a Motel 6. Fridge and microwave in room. Comfortable bed and clean. Only one chair (we had a room with two queen beds), so if two people, one sits on the bed. Not many restaurants around the small town, so we had a few snacks/ sandwiches in the room from the local grocery store. We had trouble with the TV but just used our iPads. Very kind and helpful staff; decent free breakfast choices -……

“The room was very cute and clean, Darrell was extremely helpful as a host, the included breakfast was hearty and kept us fueled for time on the lake, the location is perfect for any activities in town. The river float is a wonderful summer option, and Guernsey & Glendo lakes are so close. ”

“If you are used to staying in $40 / night somewhat old-timey and economical motels, then you will be comfortable here. But it is not a Best Western so if you are picky, pay more and go somewhere else. The staff was great. Expedia didn't make it clear if they were billing my credit card or if the staff was supposed to so she photocopied it along with my ID just in case. Expedia wasn't answering the phone - we could only get a recording.”

“Stayed for a last minute layover on my drive and the bed was amazingly comfortable and the linens smelled lovely. This is a relatively new family-owned establishment and the owner met me there to ensure my check in went smoothly and provided excellent service and some extra in-room snacks. The personal service was appreciated and the room was comfy and cozy. I’m looking forward to a intentional planned trip in the future!”
