“My overnight stay at the Comfort Inn in Somerset was very pleasant. The lady at the front desk when I checked in was so friendly and that gave me a good impression of the hotel. My room was very comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint, and it’s really more a matter personal preference, is that the bed was so high, that a short person, or a person with joint problems, would almost have to jump up to get in it. “I don’t usually leave reviews but I needed to on this one because so many reviews are negative for this little motel! Please keep in mind that it’s a MOTEL! If you are expecting a swanky hotel, move on. This is a clean, affordable and convenient motel along the 127 yardsale route! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The area is safe and convenient. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and there are lots of close dining option. I have zero complaints to list! ”

“We LOVE our rooms- they’re huge and we appreciate the microwave and fridge. Very pretty too. If we were staying more than one night we would be disappointed that the pool isn’t available. We should never see a pool advertised if it’s not truly in use. But I noticed we are only an hour and a half away from Neyland Stadium and since one of my children loves 20 minutes from here, we will most likely return. Good location and great price! The front desk clerk had been very very kind and and helpful……

“Keith and Shari are PHENOMENAL hosts! They are beyond accommodating and also gave tips for hikes and great food. My kids LOVED it there - especially the porch kitties! Breakfast was fantastic, the room was impeccable with wonderful touches...I could go on and on. The kids asked if we could stay there again, so you know that's a huge win! And I agree! “From start to finish this was an excellent stay! The home was clean, roomy, and perfectly situated for our stay. The view from the deck and the sunroom was perfect. I enjoyed the early morning peace sipping my coffee taking in the view of the sun coming up over the hills behind the lake. Everything was just as shown in the listing (or better) and the owner was quick to respond when we had a question. We look forward to our next stay! ”
