“We loved the accommodations and felt very welcomed as we entered the home. We have been visiting Galena for years as a family and the setup was perfect for all ages as well as our 11 year old goldendoodle. We spent our mornings on the front porch having coffee, late mornings playing pickleball by the marina, afternoons at the pool, and dinners downtown (always have to go to Fried Green Tomatoes). We enjoyed the screened in porch at night, relaxing on the couch, or playing uno at the kitchen……

“SW Wisconsin is so beautiful that if it was near Paris it would be world-famous. But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. The room was comfortable, quiet, spacious, and perfectly clean. And the town, though small, has good restaurants, bars, and coffee places, a grocery store, and a great spot to soak tired feet in the Pecatonica River. Ray, the host, was……

“Charm, town accessibility, COWS! We couldn’t have asked for better during our stay! First and foremost the hosts took it above and beyond when we anxiously called them after getting a “shelter in place” alert on our phones due to weather and tornado’s. Without question they helped us with a plan to get access to the basement if we needed to, which from the two anxious mom’s with littles in the house it couldn’t have been more reassuring. Having kiddos with us aged 2,4, and 7 the house is about……
