“Overall a good stay at a clean facility. I sometimes have to have some overnight stays for my work, so I generally look for an inexpensive, clean place to stay for the night and don't really use amenities. This facility didn't have any real amenities, but the didn't affect me. I could pick at couple small things (hot water didn't get real hot after running for a while, etc.) but overall, it appeared to be a well kept facility. It had a comfortable bed, all the basics, it was clean and quiet.……

“We had a brief overnight stay here. The staff was friendly. The room and grounds were clean. The indoor pool room looked great, but we arrived at midnight and had to leave at 9am so we were not able to use it. Overall, for the location it is in it was a good hotel.”

“I grew up in Defiance, OH as did my spouse. We usually stay with my mom when we visit for the holidays but this time an elderly aunt got mom’s guest room so we debated as to either getting a hotel room for multiple days or a VRBO. I am very glad we chose staying at The General’s Quarters. It is a cozy place, with a lot of references to General Anthony Wayne, the inevitable founder of Defiance, OH. A perfect place for two or a family to stay at when visiting this city of 20,000 in NW OH.”

“This establishment was so awesome. The sweetest lady at the counter was kind and courteous even though it was very late. Easy check in and check out. Though it was small, it was very nice and comfortable. Definitely stay here again. ”
