“It was a halfway point in our destination. Located in rural Appalachia. Older buildin. Rooms clean but could use updating. Fitness center closed. Breakfast was adequate and stocked well. Pretty basic.”

“The bed was excellent. The bathroom doorknob was about to fall off. The shower head was awful. And I prefer to use the stairs as much as possible but two of the three lights in the stairwell were out so I had to use my cell phone flashlight in order to see where I was going, which is certainly a safety violation and against the law. I mentioned this at the front and the young man said he'd told the management about this at least a week ago and it still hadn't been addressed.”

“We were impressed at how the staff handled an unexpected blackout -- glad it didn't last too long.”

“We went up for Groundhog Day and got a perfectly nice hotel room for the nights we were there. Wish we had access to the closed bar and grill just so we had somewhere to sit and eat dinner, but the beds were comfy and great for what we needed!”

“Working at luxury properties for a long time has made me very aware of the ins and outs of small facilities like this. The lake inn was fantastic. Very easy to check in and out, the room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfy, rooms were a little outdated but for the accommodation you’re getting, Well worth the stay and price point. The individual at the office on property was quick, to the point and very polite. 10/10. If ever in the area. This will be where I’ll stay! ”
