“The staff made this the best getaway ever! They were so friendly and even let me make waffles for my sons after I didn't realize the weekday breakfast hours were different than weekends and showed up late! They have warm cookies, juice and coffee in the lobby 24-7, computers readily on and available, and they were constantly cleaning the lobby area! The rooms were nice and clean, although big water spots on the ceiling showed the age of the property and tons of dead bugs on the little balcony……

“We moved in and enjoyed a little time at the beach. Then we had dinner and played games. Friday was a birthday for a 6 year old and we had fun at the beach and then watching the birthday girl open presents. Then went to Port St Jo for dinner at Sister's Bistro. We did lots more beach time on Saturday. The only unfortunate event was the swing falling down. I am sure you will be fixing or removing the swing.”

“This home’s location on the canal was lovely. The 2 decks on either side of the living area on the 3rd floor provided excellent views of the canal and the gorgeous sunsets. The dock made it easy to use our kayak and fish. There was an outdoor grill and fire pit area as well. All were well maintained.This house has a pool under construction. We knew this when we rented it so went in knowing there would be noise/construction debris. The crew did not work Saturday or Sunday, which was nice. The……

“I will start with the positives -- which were numerous -- the house is gorgeous and well appointed. The elevator was a big help -- in arriving and packing up, as well as for more mature guests who had a challenge with the stairs. The location is great -- right on the beach, which is a quick walk away. We received great check-in information and it went off without a hitch. The kitchen facilities were great -- everything we needed was there except for the food. There was a wine/beverage frig……

“We really enjoyed the location of the property. The apartment was just the right size for the two of us. It did have a few issues. There were ants in the kitchen, no cabinets to store food and really needed a dehumidifier. Everything felt damp. We did enjoy our stay . ”
