The kitchen was convenient because there are not many restaurant options nearby...my biggest complaint. There is a breakfast/lunch place right next door, though. Beautiful surroundings and right at the shore...heard the ocean waves crashing in the night. The sea lions were resting on the rocks about 200-300 ft away, too. “Great location. Near Eel River and Dean Creek. Friendly check in. Check in time was 4 pm but we arrived at 1:30 pm and our room was already available. The water was shut off due to a plumbing issue but it was resolved in 20 minutes. Meanwhile Lisa, the manager, gave us a free gallon of water. Very close to the Avenue of the Giants and Shelter Cove. ”
