“This is a very cool restored hotel. It is lovely and they have done a good job of making it feel homey. Because it is old, the walls and ceilings are very thin. We were kept up late one night because the people next to us were talking so loud. I called the front desk and then walked down to the front desk but no one was there because it was after hours. After an hour and a half of listening to them, I finally banged on the wall and they got quiet. Also, we had a queen room, which was very cute,……

“I was surprised by how clean and well furnished the home was, as well as it's very remote location. The access road is quite bumpy, so drive with caution. It takes you all the way up the mountain, amidst the snowcapped mosquito range and several 14ers including the legendary Quandary Peak and Mount Democrat.
