“Older hotel, however, updates have been made in furnishings, flooring, etc. The location is fine with the lake right behind the hotel. Perkins is down the street for a quick meal. Breakfast was minimal, not the usual cooked breakfast but had cereal, oatmeal, packaged pastries and some breakfast sandwiches you could microwave yourself. I don’t think I’d stay here again. Pillows were horrid. ”

“Always great customer service. Rooms are kept very clean and tidy. Pool area are great for kids to swim and play. It was annoying when older kids were throwing around volley ball and football around other guest. ”

“The Staff that worked here were very nice and outgoing. The outside property and view of Lake Michigan are amazing. Also very convenient was having a restaurant very close. The only down side was I happened to go when the lake fly hatching was going on. So I was not able to use the balcony with out having a ton of lake flies getting in the room and buzzing me while I tried to sleep. But with the big bay window I was still able to enjoy a beautiful view.”

“Clean room, nicely firm but comfortable beds (I slept like a rock!) Well maintained, bathroom nicely remodeled. Pool area was clean and well kept (could use some loungers and maybe not have towels on every table so the tables could be used.) One downside was waking into the lobby to the STRONG smell of curry. It seemed to be better the next morning, but was overpowering in the evening. Need some exhaust fans, filters, air fresheners for when cooking is going on. The exterior door locks and door……

“Room was ok. Carpet was “crunchy feeling” and bathroom had corners that may have not been cleaned in a very long time but the sheets seemed clean and the beds were relatively comfortable. The rooms need updating. Tried to get something to drink but only vending machines there were all out of order.”
