“The family and I stayed for the long President’s Day weekend in the Wyldwood Cabin. The rustic charm was exactly what we were looking for. The pebble tech flooring was so unique and perfect for a family going and coming from the snow. Very roomy and several seating areas for multiple conversation or game playing. The grandkids took over the loft and played for hours. It was like their own little apartment. Amanda is a terrific host and extremely prompt in her response to any questions. We will……

“Nice property with great possibilities. Great views large size rooms. Internet is horrible at .68 download and .12 upload. No way to do minor work from home stuff or use electronics. Exterior of house need major TLC. The screen doors are hanging by a tread. N6 remotes for the tv and not one worked all functions.”

Great space for kids upstairs once you put the mattresses on the floor, the springs were noisy . Two great comfortable rooms down stairs. Would rent again . “We had a fantastic stay at The Boat House Cottage! Easy to find and only 20 mins away from Shaver Lake. When we arrived, everything was spotless. The heater was on so it was a comfy temperature, and there was a little basket of snacks. Everything is well-thought out, from a stocked kitchen (with two coffee machines) to extra blankets and puzzles/games around the house. There’s a large smart TV and strong WiFi too. Super cozy for our winter getaway! Highly recommend.”

“Well what to say! The positive is the little cabin was clean. The bedding horrible. No outside area to sit. cabins across the street and a couple up the hill sat outside our cabin smoking “several” different types of things. No on site management so no way to get help with this situation as they also had 2 loud dogs. There was a piece of paper on the table saying “No internet, except in cabin 9”. And that we could go 1/2 mile down road to restaurant. My daughter had work to do so we went to the……

“We really enjoyed the cabin, it has plenty of room for larger groups and the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend this place!”

“We have stayed at many places over this years this was by far the cleanest. The house has everything you need for a great stay at Shaver Lake. I think parking instructions should be included with the check in process due to parking spots only being accessed from a different street than the address but otherwise can’t wait to come back! Thanks for having us! ”

“I booked the cabin for a bachelorette weekend and there were 7 of us total. We had a wonderful time. It was so close to town and the neighborhood was great. The house was beautiful and the large font window was our favorite part. The only negative was the mattresses were a little too hard. However, I would stay here again. ”

“Mostly clean, all kitchen dishes were plastic, Non-stick cookware was very old, water was brown and tasted of iron. Carpet was dirty. Upstairs rooms were freezing first night, upstairs toilet leaked and ran water constantly. No outside lights so difficult to find the house. Very icy on entry could have been handled with salt. Did not know that cameras would be watching us at all times. We hope there were no cameras in the house, this was also an unknown. ”
