“This motel is more than 70 years old. The owners have made significant upgrades to a very old motel. Room looks nice upon entry and it was impeccably clean. The bed was possibly the best i have encountered in years. What you cant change are 2 foot by 2 foot showers, and a lack of heating controls during the cold months. It's an old central baseboard heating system for the whole operation. Staff was helpful and pleasant. This motel is a good budget option, but its still very old.”

“Host double booked over me for his “private” hunting business. Couldn’t use living room or kitchen because his other guests had all their hunting gear in them. My bed collapsed the second day. Real nightmare. I would never recommend this property to anyone. ”

“Very clean quaint property. Our room was situated overlooking a busy 4-way stop which made it a bit loud for sleeping when the trucks with loud mufflers rolled through but rested well just the same. Recommend this property for those looking for a quaint historic stay within walking distance to the Mighty Mississippi! ”

“Checkin took forever. No one was at desk. The building was nasty looking, and the bed sheets looked nasty. Had spots all over covers and bed sheets. Slept in our clothes.”

“Older hotel, but it was clean. My room had a different color on every wall. Blue gray, bright green, & bright blue in the bathroom. I slept fine & that was the point.”
