“A great place to stay that won't Break the bank. I'll be honest- I have a hard time reviewing hotels like Gateway to the Breaks because a five star review may create unrealistic expectations while a three or even four star review seems too harsh. The fact is that this is a basic hotel with very few amenities; they don't offer breakfast, there are no phones in the rooms, and the only fitness activity is if you have to climb the stairs to a second story room. “Overall the place was beyond great from every aspect to me. Everything inside the room was new and looked great only issue was no shower curtain but wasn’t a deal breaker. Me and my nephew stayed there over the weekend to do atv trails in the town of Gilbert WV. Was a blast will definitely go back. Anyone looking to book don’t let outside appearance fool you it definitely is nice and comfortable along with it being affordable too. ”

“My husband, my mom, and I stayed at this cozy little cottage, and we just loved it! It was very clean, smelled amazing (like autumn), and it was just so fun! I highly recommend!”

“We stayed for two nights for Hillbilly Days in Pikeville. It was close to the activities yet kind of out by itself to get privacy. It was very clean and well maintained. It had a nice outdoor area for relaxing outside too. I had good communication from the host and he answered all of my questions. Would stay here again. ”

“My husband and I stayed in two of the units in this locations, and loved both of them. We were out and about most of the time we were there so we didn’t spend much time there but they were both perfectly clean and comfortable to sleep in. Josh is great with communication and responding in a timely manner. He and his wife go above and beyond to make sure guests feel at home. We will likely be staying again if/when we make it back over that way. ”
