“Bad Axe Motel may not be a new modern establishment, but it's updated, very clean, comfortable beds, equipped kitchenette, in the country on a main road, & convenient location. With parking right in front of room door. I would absolutely stay again, and recommend it.”

The beach kept us busy from sunrise to sunset with swimming, walking, and just relaxing by the waves. It was the perfect mix of peaceful and fun, and we never ran out of things to do. “The pictures in the listing were exactly what we found when we arrived! Clean and tidy. Ready for guests. The cottage shares a cute quiet street with other cottages and it does share a hot tub, BBQ and hose with the cottage next door but this doesnt make any difference. We actually made new friends and thought how nice this could be for a alarger group to be able to rent 2 cottages right next to eachother. Each cottage has thier own fire pit and 2 (maybe more?) parking spots. Trash bin is……

“The property was clean, nicely decorated, had a lot of stuff for the kitchen, felt very homey. The property managers were very accessible. They responded within minutes and they sent you a text of the area events which was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again!!”

“Ideal location on the water. Ample space, well stocked kitchen. Having onsite washer and dryer was incredible. Even with a power outage it was the perfect place to stay. Only complaint air conditioning consisted of one window unit so it got a bit muggy on the warmer days, but otherwise fantastic. ”

We went on some nice walks down the beach too. We were concerned because there wasn’t central air but the breeze off the water kept the cottage nice a cool at night.
