The kitchen had every appliance, cookware and utensil we could possibly need, and the grill is amazing, unlike many other rentals we've had. The location and the view are perfect. “The only thing better than the pictures & description is the actual experience! From the moment you open the door, the owner's attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness and knack for including everything you need (and more) is evident. Close to many outdoor activities. An easy drive to the mountain(s). From relaxing by the fire to enjoying table tennis/pool/video games/air hockey/cards -- Pine Bear met every need of family from 6 to 72. And when a few of the crew decided sub-freezing temps……

“This is a good place that could have been better if a few things had been taken care of prior to our stay:- Every dish was dirty, but had been put away like it was clean.- The floors needed sweeping and mopping. You’d shower, walk around barefoot, and your feet would be dirty. Immediately walking into the kitchen meant stepping on small dirt clumps.- First floor shower had pink slime, as if it hadn’t been cleaned recently.- The upstairs shower squeaked loudly while showering, so much that we……
