“It's conveniently near several great places to eat, a really nice public park (which is also the starting point of the Detroit Lakes Troll Hunt). The breakfast was great, solid coffee. ”

“I was disappointed in my room as i unfolded the hide away bed and there was blood on the mattress and a bag of candy and other debris in the bed. Other than that things were fine”

“Friendly staff, clean rooms as far as we knew. Hotel does not have breakfast. The room Jacuzzi worked well and held HOT water. Comfortable beds and big pillows, tv worked. I liked that they have good blackout curtains. It felt great to sleep in. Great stay for a low price. ”

“Great price, Great place. Area outside needs TLC but May is the beginning of season and spring in MN doesn’t start until the day before summer starts. I will be back.”

“5 couples recently stayed at this gorgeous mansion in Vergas, Mn. It was nothing short of amazing ! All of us were looking for some rest and relaxation as we left our kids at home for some fun time together. We got that and so much more!Our favorite thing was how much space each couple had, yet we were all together…way more than any other place we’ve stayed. I don't think we turned on a TV the entire time we were there. This is a testament to how inviting the space was. Great for conversations……

“For years, our family had a traditional cozy lakeside cabin on a sandy beach. Best of memories. The Sportsman cabin brought it all back, we had a wonderful time. Private beach, dock and boat lift and fish cleaning. Hosts Luke n Nicole, super friendly and helpful. We’ll be back. ”
