“We stayed at this beach house for about 5 weeks in July while I was receiving cancer treatment at UTMB, and it was truly a blessing to have such a comfortable place during that time. The owners are wonderful—kind, helpful, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was stocked with all the essentials, which made our extended stay so much easier.The only small challenge was the A/C instructions, which asked that it be kept at 76. “We had a great trip. House had everything for us to cook and chlll. Beach access could use some maintenance. Downstairs storage area doors have fallen off due to weather/wear and tear but the rest of the house is in good shape!”

We were told that someone would call when they were on the way to fix the two issues and we never got the call. So my husband was waking up throughout the night to reset the ac to cool the house back down. My husband was told we would get reimbursed so much a day for the oven not working that we never got. ”

“We had a great stay. It was literally 2 minutes from the beach. Community pool and fishing pier within blocks and a playground with a basketball court across the road where you can see the kids from the deck. The kids rode bikes around the blocks and the community is very kid and family friendly. The rental had great sleeping arrangements and great communication.”

“The Teal Turtle is surprisingly spacious and stocked ready for the perfect Galveston getaway! We spent the weekend on a family trip with 6 adults and 4 kids with plenty of room for everyone. We could’ve left all of our cookware at home as the kitchen had all the utensils, pots and pans that you’d need - there were even measuring cups!
