“We truly enjoyed our week-long stay at the Lodge, nestled peacefully in the woods. The setting was calm, relaxing, and the house itself was clean and well-kept. Our favorite spot was the downstairs lounge, where we spent most of our time enjoying the games, television, and pool table. The lounge also opens out to the patio, perfect for evening bonfires under the stars. Loved it! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again in the near future!”

“The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes.……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the long weekend! We had 3 generations together celebrating birthdays. The house is spacious yet log cabin cozy in the woods-remote but not too remote. The piano was an added bonus!! We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and morning coffee /meals on the deck. Lots of games! Cacapon State Park is a hop, skip and jump away and we hiked each day exploring nature and beautiful views. Cacapon also has a nice gift shop and a cute beach, we never made it to the beach……

“The owner was ion the house when we arrived 30 minutes after check in. They took over 2 hours to attempt to leave. After waiting that long I left. Never stepped foot inside. I should receive a refund. Thank you. Also false advertising. Thats not what the property looked like. ”

“Property and location just as advertised. Owner was very good about communicating and letting you know he was available if any issues came up (which they did not). Would stay there again!”

“Great cabin, very quiet location! Nice screened in porch, awesome hot tub and great kitchen appliances. Couldn't find some light switches, and the ladder to the loft was very steep.”
