“Beautiful spot and rooms were gorgeous. A bit of a hassel getting in as everything is done online and codes wouldnt work and we had to call twice. No staff on site, so no one to contact about towels and the burnt out lightbulb on the night stand light. Other than that it was a great place and we hope to stay again!”

“This older home and its cultural interior connected with my roots in Kingfield when I worked as a forester for Dead River Timberlands in the mid-late 1960's. The wall art plus books on the Grateful Dead, you rock! I stayed here as my overnight for doing some off-trail photographic exploration in the Boundary Mountains the next day. i'll stay here again. Thanks ”

“This is a wonderful cabin in a peaceful town. It was restful and very inviting. Very pet friendly and accommodating. Had the best week! Lots of great hiking and exploring. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the house! It was perfect for the family and my 78 year old mom who stayed in the downstairs bedroom. She sat on the back porch every morning to eat her breakfast watching for wildlife. She saw turkeys but no deer. I would stay here again and hope that we spend time in Maine again soon.”

“My friend and I stayed here for a week and the house has plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with the usual, but also contained extras like spices and oils.Having just two of us, my friend took the first floor master bedroom/bathroom while I took the second floor that contained two bedrooms and a bathroom. I started off on the softer mattress in one bedroom, but after one night's sleep it was a bit too soft for me. I switched to the other room with two beds, both very firm memory foam.……
