“We planned the trip around seeing Acadia NP; Corea was a bit of a drive (especially after driving from Buffalo, NY to Maine but we could not pass up staying at this rental property! We looked at so many places but the view from the living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom, porch was too beautiful to miss out. My kids got the final say and really did so well. “This house was wonderful! Clean, easy to find on GPS, even in the dark when we arrived and a very quiet location. The view was beautiful. We saw deer in the backyard and across the lake. We utilized the fire pit on a cool night and enjoyed s’mores with our family. The small touches were thoughtful-mini bottles of shampoo & conditioner, mini bars of soap, coffee available for the coffee maker. Beds were comfortable as well. If we’re ever back in this area, I would definitely stay here again. ”

“My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh……

“This house was everything that was promised...secluded, well stocked, and very clean. I was particularly happy with the amount of supplies already in the kitchen when I arrived. Every morning I was able to have a hot cup of coffee out on the deck and listen to the water lapping against the rocks. I even had a little seal friend swim up into the cove to say hello. My only word of warning is that the road to the house is unpaved and you really need to take your time driving to and from town.……
