“This house and our vacation was so amazing. Ralph and Lisa are the best hosts. The house has everything you need and more! We were so grateful for all the amenities that this house provided. It made the vacation effortless for our family. If you have a large group this is the place for you! They thought of everything with this house and it is absolutely beautiful and so welcoming! “We had a nice weekend away at this property: plenty of space for our family of four + our dog. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked for cooking and dining. Cozy space for a long weekend. Only negative was that the hot tub wasn’t working and we weren’t told before arriving that it hadn’t been working for several weeks. Also, be aware that the steps to and from the lake are steep and are not accessible for someone who has trouble walking. The water can be accessed though by driving……

“The inside of the property is fairly nice and defintley adequate for a nice getaway. However, the outside of the home needs some work. It's not falling apart, but could use cleaning, painting and a few touchups/repairs in some areas. The decks are dirty and could easily be cleaned. The house's hardie siding is faded and dirty and needs painting. The gutters need cleaning and painting and areas of the roof need to be cleaned off. I noticed these areas because I am a contractor. “This was a delightful house by the lake with kayaks and water toys; large screened porch with fans to relax outside with glimpse of water; fire pit with chairs; modern kitchen with washing machines; and game room with ping-pong; and bedroom for the children with two sets of bunkbeds. “Heron' Cove is a great location with plenty of room for our family group of eight adults and four children under 10. We were in VA for our Son's wedding in Mineral, VA. This house was excellent and my only complaint was that we were only there for a weekend and not a full week!
