“Our room was acquaint little room, clean kind of fun to be in. We totally enjoyed it. But some others might be expecting a modern style larger room, but not us. We were pleased with what we had. And it’s outside the busy part of Winthrop.”

“Riverfront. Owner Penny was amazing. Room was clean and you have everything you need. Quiet and peaceful place.”

“Staff was very polite and nice, but we had paid in advance with hotels.com 3 months earlier - and were charged again when checked in, Howard’s hotel said they couldn't help our situation, (since they had changed or updated their computer system) and it didn’t show where we had paid.. but hotels.com contacted them and we were reimbursed so all turned out well. ”

“My 80 yo mom and I stayed in the cabin for the night. We loved the cabin very much. Cool location and comfortable cozy decor and layout. However, the stairs were difficult for my mom to navigate inside the home, as well as the compact snow and ice to get to the bath house. ”
