“My 3 children (ages 7,9 & 1) and myself met our friends (adult & children ages 6, 9) halfway between each others homes in NC and Pittsburgh, PA. I found this listing and thought the kids would enjoy visiting such a beautiful, old cabin for a new experience. The cabin was warm and cozy with so much character, we spent plenty of time enjoying and discussing the art on the walls and the artifacts on the shelves. The beds were clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space and all amenities needed……

Great location for trail riding.The beds are SUPER tall but comfortable.Only a small charcoal grill, I wish I had paid better attention to that detail as I am not skilled in the art of charcoal. The hall shower is tiny, difficult for grown men to manuever.Overall great stay and super clean place.”

“the staff were nice. the room was comfortable. the bathrooms especially the bathtubs were filthy with a couple bugs and spiders. for $115 a night, it should be spotless. the staff was not available at check in and do not give u access to the inside of the hotel during your stay. they accidently locked the door and i didnt know if i was going to get to my room or not. i didnt know if i was going to be able to check in or not due to staff not being there. ”
