“It’s a good choice for staying near the lake. We stay there for a couple of days every August. It looks like the rooms were upgraded since last year. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are really, really comfortable. No restaurant in the building, but it shares a parking lot with Shoney’s, where they have a fantastic breakfast buffet. On the other side of the building there’s a convenience store with a couple of restaurants. Desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. ”

“It was very, very clean. It was quiet and everyone was nice and courteous. The breakfast area was clean and the food was well prepared.”

“This is an excellent place to stay and I give it a 10! We didn’t have a lot of options for dinner because we came on Sunday and most things are closed on Sunday, but we went to the peach Park and had some yummy fried chicken and some delicious peach cobbler and some praline pecan homemade ice cream! We love this place and if we ever come through here again, we will stay here!”

“Good stay overall. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast included hot options which was very nice. My only complaint was the smell in the hallway, it was very unpleasant to exit the room. I believe it was due to other guests activities during the days I was there. Hopefully it isn’t like this all the time. Will stay here again on my next trip to Sylacauga. ”
