“Everything was great except the pillows. Bring your own or be okay with mildew smell all night. Clean your remote with alcohol, it's gross too. They do have full size refrigerators and the hotel is located next to a grocery store which is super convenient.”

“Was a well maintained older hotel. The outside property area was well done. Enjoyed the sitting area in front of our room. I also liked it had a kitchen area. We had a few issues. The first was they did not have hot water hooked up in the kitchen. Hard to do the dishes correctly without hot water. The Hot tub was just warm water, would have liked it to have been hotter. I also wish there would have been an Ice machine. That said I would stay there again. ”

“My group(myself, my husband and our friend) thought this home was beautifully decorated and the outdoor landscaping and features were very nice. We had trouble locating the proper light switches for each of the lights throughout the property inside and out. And the main living room lights had a flickering that felt like we were at a club. It wasn’t a huge deal for just one night. We loved the warmed of the fireplace and found it very enjoyable to hang out on the couch with the fireplace on and……

“This was clean, exactly as described. It was great as landing space for living 2 hours away and wanting to see a show in the desert: will book again! ”

“The property is spacious, clean, and unique. Property manager is responsive. It is about 5-10 mins from the North entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Most of the activities we wanted to do were through the West entrance which is about 25-30 minutes away. Either way, we had a great time and we enjoyed staying in this property. Dog friendly too, so we were able to bring our animal friends. Just make sure to clean up after them!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Cactus Star Getaway in Joshua Tree. The space was beautifully decorated with a warm, inviting vibe that made us feel right at home. The sheets were incredibly soft, the soap and other amenities felt high-end, and the outdoor area was perfect for relaxing under the stars. It’s also very pet-friendly, which made traveling with our dog a breeze. The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and helpful with any questions we had, always replying quickly and kindly.……

“The house is close to the north entrance to Joshua Tree, a quick walk from Oasis of Mara, and close to the amenities of town. We really enjoyed the pool after a hot day of hiking, and both the covered seating and dining area in the backyard were a great way to be outside while getting a break from the sun. The house was well appointed and had some nice touches. Check in and out was easy, and communication was clear with the owners. We would stay again! Thanks for a great stay. ”
