“Front desk was very nice and lobby is beautiful. This hotel is historic and has a very European feel in the rooms (high ceilings, bathrooms, antique furniture). Everything was spotless, bathrooms small but very clean and refreshed. Shower/tub was excellent and new. We didn't have a hair dryer in the room, but was able to ask for one without problem. “When I first walked into the office it smelled clean and looked clean. Thats was a gear sign. Front desk was very kind. I went to my room and it smelled great. Itnlolke perfect. Im happy I stayed here. It was very cheap and better than any other place. I travel a lot. This place is a gem. I stayed at a different hotel last night and you couldnt pay me to sleep at that horrible place ever again. I will stay here every time I come to Dubuque now.”
