“The Outpost Inn was such a wonderful stay in Highlands! Our room was darling, well appointed with a little sitting area, fireplace and record player including some throw back records that put us in the mood. Bed/bedding was great, good shower pressure and products. Each afternoon we would hang out in the common spaces and firepits and enjoy a glass of wine, 'smores and meeting other travelers. “The whole stay was splendid. Paul is a wonderful host, a phenomenal cook, and a kind person. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the shower was a huge bonus to me. I love a piping hot shower, and detachable faucet so that I don’t have to get my hair wet or humid. Hardly any place has that! Our room did! The house has an interesting history, and I love the fragrance as you walk in. Like years of good breakfasts with bacon and coffee, nice furniture polish and books. It will be our go-to place……
