“A long road trip to Maine required an overnight stay to break up the drive. I chose Colby Hill Inn over any chain hotel for its promising charm, mostly and restaurant. The building is old and dated but therein lies its charm. Rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. There are parlors on the first floor where a TV can be found. The dining area overlooks a garden where goats may be seen. The restaurant's food is delicious both for breakfast and dinner. The menu is not exhaustive but you……

“因为第二天要开4个多小时的车赶到纽约，所以当天找的是距离学校特别近的这家酒店。门脸不大，很容易错过，但是只要注意有那个洋葱标志，Onion Pub & Restaurant 就是了，就是提尔顿中学下来的左手路边。其实就是一个民宿，所以非常温馨，有家的感觉。店主人是夫妻俩，对人非常好非常热心，知道我们是来面试学校的，还给了很多建议，还和我们分享他们自己孩子的情况。他们家的餐厅晚餐味道也不错。”

“The room was charming with a very comfortable bed and large modern bath. Each morning our hosts offered a delicious breakfast on the screened porch with views of the flower gardens and pond. We loved the calm ambiance of this historic home. The location is perfect for visiting New London and Sunapee. ”

“This is a lovely cabin and the owners seem nice, but it needs a new cleaning plan. After arriving to a dirty microwave, dog food on the floor, a dirty floor, a moldy shower curtain, cobwebs over the table, etc… I did some digging on other sites to see people’s comments and they were the same. The owner’s response to them and to me was that it was professionally cleaned (if this is true, they need to be fired) and that he would talk to them. Well, nothing seems to have changed since the same……
