“This is the best place to stay in Jacksboro at a very reasonable price. Conveniently located on the courthouse square, safe and sound, pretty facilities, restaurant and coffee downstairs, friendly and efficient staff. Caution: elevator was not working during our stay, but stairs are sturdy, wide, and have a secure handrail. “The house was in great condition, clean, and comfortable for our family. There was a significant amount of gnats that appeared on the bedding and in the bathrooms our first night, but we knew we were staying at the lake so wasn’t a deal breaker. Probably just a nest that was disturbed during a cleaning or lawn maintenance. The master bedroom did stay warm throughout the evening (even when keeping the window shades down throughout the day) and we needed the extra fan to circulate more air, but……
