“The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with real eggs, instead of the usual powdered scrambled eggs. The only reason I didn’t rate the stay as excellent was that the bed was a queen, not the kind I had reserved. Moreover, the bed was so high, that my wife needed a stool to get into it. I am 6’2”, and it was hard for me to get in! Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel.”

“This hotel was good to stay for one night butit is not a walkable area. It was near rundown shops. The hotel and room is dated but clean. ”

“We so enjoyed staying at this inn. We didn’t know it was in a country club with access to several of the amenities of the club. The room was beautiful, the innkeeper was very accommodating and any of the staff we ran into were lovely. A short drive to the closest metro station, we spent a day in DC, & the 2nd day in the rolling hills of northern VA in wine country where we had good wines & enjoyed a lovely dinner at a recommend spot. We would stay here again. ”

“We couldn’t stay there and went to a motel instead. The property was run down, the key didn’t work for the door and it was situated in the back where you have to walk through 200 feet of mud to get to the entrance.”

“Was looking for last minute property and found a gem. Private and secluded. Wonderful owners. Will definitely be back. ”

“A very nice practical house for a group of 6-7. Clean & cheerful with a nice layout. Our family was here for a wedding, so there was a wide age range, and we all had a good gathering area, as well as some privacy with the upstairs bedrooms. The futon couch wasn't very comfortable to sit on & an end table between the couches would have been nice. But it had everything we really nice. Thank you!”
