“Alpine Lodge is a very nice, recently renovated hotel. I stayed in a quiet room with a king size bed, two rocking chairs, and a gas fireplace. It was quite cozy and comfortable. A minor disappointment with the accommodation was that there was nowhere to take off snow boots comfortably and stash ski equipment. I stayed while skiing at Gore Mountain. The lodge is located less than 10 minutes away. The other disappointment is not with the lodge but with North Creek. Even though it was a holiday……

“Everything was as referenced on the website. Clean, comfortable room that is in walking distance to hiking, restaurants, boat excursions. We could stay again. ”

“Loved everything except for the breakfast. It was on the 2nd floor without an elevator. Both my mom and I have I really bad knees. The only hot item was waffles. ”

“We stayed in January 2025. We loved the friendly, kind staff and the quaintness of the lodge. Sitting by the fire nightly reading and chatting with other guests was a highlight. The breakfast was fantastic! We also appreciated the bag lunch that we created before going out snowshoeing. We loved our room at the Tea House which was on the snowshoe trail. The room was great; could have used several more coat hooks for our towels and snow attire. We rented snowshoes on property at the Outdoor……

“Owners were very friendly and had everything you could think of, including local trails, equipment to go out on the lake which was included with the cabin games, local eats, etc.”

“We have been going to Lake George for years, the last few bringing our toddlers. Marine Village Resort was the PERFECT location for us to park the car and not have to use it agin until check out. It is walking distance to everything in the village which makes for an easy morning grabbing bagels or a quick walk to lunch of dinner at one of the fabulous restaurants on the lake. The resort itself is fantastic (especially for young kids)! The swimming area in the lake is safe and perfect for floats……
