“The cabin was clean and covered the basics. The bed was not very comfortable and the AC unit did not cool the entire house well. The bathroom in particular stayed very hot. It was okay for a quick and cheap stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple nights. We did enjoy the hot tub and appreciated good communication from the office when needed. ”

We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. “We enjoyed the perfect family vacation at this great place. We were immediately impressed with the entrance and amenities at Bear Lake Reserve. We were surprised at the driving distance from the entrance to the house. It took about 20 minutes to drive 5 miles. But it was a beautiful scenic ride. The house had plenty of parking and was very spacious. We enjoyed relaxing on the back deck and watching the many hummingbirds. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook meals in. The smoky mountain railroad will take you to a touristy resort area and back. The Cherokee Indian reservation is real near by as well.”
