“The positives: wonderfully renovated large classic old home. We stayed in the large downstairs adjoining rooms (units C&D). My sister-in-law was joining my wife and I to see their family in Sandusky. Room(s) were beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Nice little kitchen; had a washer/dryer. Price was good. The negatives (quirks): There's no staff; it's all automated. We stayed there in January 2025 and there was snow and ice, and no one to shovel the snow or sweep off the stairs or walkways -……

She let me know that my room was ready and she even offered a bike, since I was not able to bring mine. I had a great experience from the time I received her message to the time I checked out! “After booking on your web site, where it stated that there was only one room left...we arrived to find that the property has NOT been open for months. We had to find a room, which was hard on a Friday afternoon. Also, we were worried that we would be charged for three nights in a place that was not open. The mail box was over flowing with mail, there was Xmas decorations still out. We are not happy at all.”

“Very nice property and comfortably slept 10 people. Great veiws at the waterfront property. Not RIGHT in town, but a quick golf cart ride to town center and other wineries and such on the island. We were in late fall so didnt get a busy summer feel, nor used the pool and stuff but it was very chill when we stayed. ”
